The Bill of Rights is a formal declaration in response to greater constitutional protection for individualsindividual liberties, that guarantees freedom of speech, assembly and worship. In today’s world people see animals as companions, pets and substances to be used for scientific experiments. Animal rights play a major role in society because there isn’t a sole opinion on what the treatment of animals should be. In the article, “A Change of Heart about Animals” by Jeremy Rifkin., Rifkin brings a newer perspective, in which he attempts to make his readers view animals as also non-human beings, whomwho we share the earth with. While Rifkin does bring a new insight, the fact is that there are undeniable differences between animals and humans and his approach is inaccurate.
