Carefully weaving the history, traumas, and memories of slavery in BELOVED"Beloved."
This study aims at conducting an analysis of the book
entitled "Beloved" (1987) by Toni Morrison. To this end, we seek to demonstrate how the literary language and its narrative features historical facts permeating the United States; the historical trauma suffered by the protagonists withsome years after the adventabolishment of slavery, as well as their memories. The choice of this work is justified by the representative content of an era in which historical and social context builds alternative paradigms. This literary work has originated in new formulations of cultural behaviors and relevant researches in the field of Racerace theory.
