What exactly does eAngel do?
eAngel.me is a service that allows you to easily correct and proofread all of your texts, like emails, articles, documents, presentations and more. We correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and misused words. However, we do not change the meaning of the text. We do not translate texts, we only proofread them.
-
Are the corrections performed by machine or by humans?
Humans. The online corrections are made by our team of expert angels who will take care of your email.
-
How do I use the Gmail Extension?
You simply download the browser extension from our website and approve the connectivity with Gmail. Then, when you compose a new email from your Gmail account, you will see another button next to the Send button. When you wish to send an email that you want corrected, you just press our button labeled "Send with eAngel" instead of the usual Send button.
-
What happens after I send an email to be corrected?
Your message is moved automatically to a new folder "eAngel Pending", until our angels correct it. Then the email reaches our team of angels who correct it. Your message is then sent to the original recipients, exactly as if it were sent directly from your email address. Your recipients will not be aware of the correction process. Do not remove the email from the "eAngel Pending" if you want our angels to be able to correct your email.
-
What's the price?
Have a look at our pricing table. We have low cost subscription plans that will suit your needs. You can cancel them at any time.
-
What email providers and browsers do you support?
We support all kinds of browsers and platforms. If you have Gmail, you can use our Gmail-Browser extension. Otherwise, simply email to fix@eangel.me from any device or browser.
-
What about my privacy?
All your messages are completely secure in our system. Every member of the team has signed a Confidentiality Agreement. Moreover, for additional security, we hide your details, the recipient's details, the subject and the attached files from our angels. We only let them correct the textual content of your emails. We never use the Gmail access permission for anything other than correcting the emails that you choose to be corrected.
-
How do I know when the recipient has received my email?
You will get an email back from us indicating that your corrected email has been sent, together with the text corrections.
-
Can you explain the pricing?
Let us take the Basic Plan for example. After you subscribe you pay $5 per month. You can cancel the subscription plan at any time. While subscribed, you have 1700 Angel Units a month, corresponding to 1700 reviewed words, or 793 corrections. Corrections are measured as the number of corrected characters. For example, you may send messages totaling 1000 words with 326 corrections. When you register to more advanced plans, your value for money increases, as the cost per word and per correction decreases.
-
Can I review my email before it is sent to the recipient?
If you wish to review your email first, simply send the email to yourself. When you get it fixed, you can send it to the recipient.
-
What if my usage exceeds my monthly limit?
When you exceed your limit, you will be notified. You can then upgrade your plan.
-
Are credit card payments made on eAngel.me secure?
Absolutely. We use top security providers, and we never store credit card information in our database.
-
I have a Word document that I want to proofread. Do you do it?
Absolutely. If you want to have your Word document proofread, you simply upload it to our website and we send the text corrections back to you including tracked changes, so you can review the changes and choose which one you accept.
-
I need to correct a Google Doc file, do you have an add-on for it?
Indeed. Please go here if you want to install our proofreading add-on for Google Docs.
-
Do you have any limitations that I should be aware of?
In order for our proofreaders and editors to work simultaneously on your text, you need to split your text to 2000 word chunks. In addition, we may reject a text if it contains inappropriate material.
