Why do I deserve this scholarship? That's the first thing that comes to mind when you are actually searching for scholarships. I believe I deserve this scholarship because it will be beneficial financially to receive a bachelor's degree in Ccriminal Jjustice, and to make a change in society, especially the youth.

When I first decided my major in college, I was in my high school forensics class. I was fascinated with the procedures the investigators had to do and also the obstacles they face, such as cold cases. While in fForensics class it had opened my eyes to a different world that was unknown to me which was: criminal justice and politics. And because of tThis course italso made me want to watch the local, and world news more to educate myself about what's going on around me. AsIt weall itso made want to know more about our criminal justice system and how unjust it can be. By the end of the semester I knew for sure I wanted to major in criminal justice to educate and help others who are not familiar with the system.

By obtaining a bachelor's degree in Ccriminal Jjustice I there avre various things I would like to do, such as substance and behavioral abuse or youth correctional counselor. I have a soft spot in my heart for the youth, as they are the future of the world. And I feel as though with my experiences I endured in my life I can give them some insight to help better themselves.

So, receiving this scholarship will be beneficial in allowing me to make a change in the society, especially for the youth.
