Etymologically Ijarah means 'lease' or 'hire,'' while Ijarah or wages (ujrah) is "'the reward for a job"'. According to the author, in terms of Islamic economic laws, Ijara means "'to make a manfa`aħ (services)' as belonging, whether the benefits derived from goods (`ayn) or work (`amal) of humans with reward (ujrah), which is also determined,; and either the reward in the form of `ain property (goods), dayin (debt), or manfa`aħ (services).
