You can't be a Christian (child of God) and conveniently live in sin (lying, stealing, sexual promiscuity, pride, drunkenness, etc). That only shows one thing, that there is no conviction and when there is no conviction in onesomeone it means the Holy Spirit is missing. Because when you truly love God and are truly chasing after Him. You, you make a conscious decision to not engage in a lot of sinful activities. ItIt's just like when you're in love with your boyfriend/girlfriendboyfriend or girlfriend, you stop doing certain things to make the relationship work. Because ifIf you keep doing themthose things, the relationship will not work. SameIt's the same as with the things of God, if you're continuously living in sin the holy spiritHoly Spirit cannot reside inwithin you and you won't be able to make progress in the things of God and that is what the enemy wants. I'm Inot saying that you will never fall. NO! You will. thatThat's why the Christian walk is a walk of constantly dying to your flesh for His glory and depending on Him to help you when you're tempted to do things out of His will. It more than just going to church and looking cute.
