This is our story, mine and LucasLucas's, it is not there’stheirs. Hello, my name is Rosie and I am a 17-year-old girl, who isI am a caring and warm heartwarmhearted person and I listenslisten to my parents. My parents have high expectations for me. We all believe that redos arerodeos equal animal abuse, and thatthis is why I am vegan. Well, it's not really my choice but we havehad a town meeting to kick the redorodeo out of town.
Our small town is massive on voting so my dad
, the mayor, thinks we should not have a redorodeo. When I walkwalked into the old city hall, I seesaw dust fall right in front of me. ItIt's an old building that has been here forever. I walkwalked into the building and there was a bunch of cowboys that were standing, waiting for the meeting to start. I went and sat with my brother, and sat in a chair next to them. When the meeting started my dad stood at the front and talktalked about how they roperoped and hurt animals. Out of the blue, this young cowboy stood up and said “excuse“Excuse me sir, but our cows and horsehorses get treated like kings and queens. If we hurt them there would be no rodeo, and without that, some of us couldn't pay bills. We come out here to put on a show, not to hurt them.” He looked over at me and smiled. My dad was so furious.
