I am an Indian Malaysian who was born and raised in Malaysia. I migrated to the US about seven years ago. I have completed my Associate Degree in Arts and Science inat Bellevue College, and was accepted into the BSN program inat Washington State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing on December 14, 2014. My educational goal is to obtain a Masters in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner at Rivier University. My career goalbjectives are to complete my graduate studies, become a nurse practitioner in an acute care setting, and maybe, later in life, reside in an office setting.
After graduating in 2014 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I knew I wanted to continue my education within the nursing field. I wanted to start the graduate program immediately, but decided to work to gain some experience in a sub-acute Rrehab center. I am currently utilizing my clinical skills that I learned in nursing school in a sub-acute setting in Rehab Center, Nashua. In this area of work, I am providing nursing care for adult patients, and it has been rewarding to work with this population. Ever since I started working as an RN, my desire to complete a graduate's degree ihas increasinged more and more. I am passionate about my career, and dedicated to provide competent medical care, with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights. I am a person with full of positive attitudes, and I believe with my skills and education, I am confident that I am able to provide proper diagnoses and treatment options to my patients. Working in the health care field is a privilege and an honor. It requires hard work, patience, intelligence, and compassion.
In graduate school, I hope to gain more knowledge, particularly in advanced pathophysiology and pharmacology, which will allow me to identify the needs of the patient and diagnose any complex and diverse signs and symptoms oin timely manner. I have selected your program because of your excellent academic reputation, your dedication to current and future research, and your commitment to educating health care providers.
