Being the last child of the family, I spent my early days administering domestic activities considering the fact that my older siblings have gone their ways in career pursuit. I was involved in organizing chores in the house with the seldom supervision of my mum who was not at home most of the times because of the kind of business she runs. I naturally came to like administrative activities and I get happy when saddled with corresponding responsibilities because I feel it is an opportunity to exhibit what I am good at doing by virtue of the fact that I was taking charge of house activities in the absence of my mum and siblings.
After my bachelors degree, I proceeded to a graduate diploma in Public Administration which gave me the mindset that I had wasted my time to studying what I studied in my undergraduate degree,. tThe reason to that is not farfetched and owes to the fact that I performed very well in that program of study and came out in the top of the class. I enjoyed the course content embedded in the program and this really strengthened my interest and background in the field of administration.
I really find this course of study an interesting and eye-opening one as a result of the exposure I have derived from it in terms of unraveling some of the ideals behind the administrative activities and policies that affects the lives of citizens residing in different countries and state. One of such courses was taught by a well known and respected Pprofessor in my school in the person of pProfessor Popoola who taught Administrative Law ……..
I have been engaged in visiting different government offices on a frequent basis and not -for -profit purposes, but just to have a great deal of ideas in Pragmatic Public Admininstration. I have found this easy to do by the reason of the fact that I have a sister who is a Civil sServant and she introducesd me to her co-staff and some of her Bboss esome of whom have engaged me in serious discussions in the areas of Public Administration and service….
My attitude to life is that whatever is worth doing at is worth doing well though this was faulted in my bachelors degree result which was not encouraging as a result of some factors. It may appear as though my bachelor’s degree outcome is a minus in succeeding in a graduate program, but I am of a strong surety that the sky is my starting point and I assure the Graduate Selection Committee beyond all reasonable doubt that this cannot stand as a stumbling block for me in achieving greater heights in my career pursuit.
I am so passionate about getting an advanced study in this area of study due to my personality becoause I feel strongly that a lot still needs to be put in place in the administrative sector of most countries in the world and having in mind that all these countries make up the international society. I strongly aim to be a catalyst in the administrative sector not locally or nationally but internationally across countries of the world.
