It's hard to believe it's been 15 years. I couldan still remember looking up at the north tower in disbelief. Despite seeing the fire that seemed to have engulfed what I thought was half my floor, I told myself that they wioulld put out the fire, that I'l would get my files and work from home. Then the towers came tumbling down. First the south,. tThen the north. And all I could think of were my friends and colleagues and all those people trapped in and around the buildings. Nothing else has ever sent such a shock up my spine as it did that day. It was the day that changed our lives forever. It was the day that taught us not to take life for granted, and in the aftermath, people in New York, across the country and all around the globe showed their love and support by raising our flag, even if it wasn't their own. Let us never forget that day,. bBut most importantly, let us not forget the love and the strength that came from it.
I made this video 5 years ago to commemorate the 10th anniversary, and I dedicate it again on this 15th anniversary to my friends and colleagues and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. May their sacrifice never be in vain, and
may their memory never be forgotten.
