Today, I received an update from our shipping partner that our new Durga Protima’ s delivery has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. While the NVBA Executive committee is constantly in touch with our shipping partner for updates and leaving no stone unturned to make sure our Durga Protima arrives at Fairfax before the Pujo, I am disappointed that the delivery schedule has turned volatile now.

Like all of you, I share the emotions of commemorating the 25th Anniversary with our new Durga Protima as we have earlier announced. If our new Protima do not reaches us on time, it is my belief that Durga may would like to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our Community’s Pujo in the form of her old avatar.

Lastly, to all our members who have donated towards our new Protima, I sincerely apologize for the current update - but as you realize this situation is now beyond NVBA’s control. I would personally like to thank you for the donation and assure you that this fund will be released only in support of our new Protima next year, if not current year. If for any reason, if you would like to receive your donation refunded, please do not hesitate to contact Arijit Auddy, our NVBA Treasurer Secretary.
