As the number of Japanese tourists traveling abroard increased in 1985, there has been a steady increment in the percentage of the Japanese tourists visiting Australia. The diaphgragms demonstrate a direct correlation between the number of Japanese people visiting Australia, ,and the number of Japanese tourists traveling around the world .


The
peak point of the first diaphgragm was in 1995, with 15 million Japanese individuals travelleding around the world, of which 6% visited Australia . While the peak point in the second diaphgragm was 1994, in which 6.25% of the total number of Japanese tourists visited Australia. The number of Japanese tourists traveling around the world continue ously increased from 1985 to 1995; except in 1991 and 1993, there were slight declines in the figures.


Since 1985
, the Austrialian's share of Japanese's tourists market increased steadily; however, there were declines atin 1990 and 1995 by 1% and 0.5%, respectively. Although there were declines at some points in the second diaphgragm , the increment was steady by 0.5% each year.
