I don’t feel extremely sympathetic for him though, because by making him suffer by looking at all the expresseions on their faces, he is starting to realize how wrong he really was about killing the Aalbatross.
AtIn the end he really pays for his actions, and once he gets on his knees and prays and all the crew members come back to life, a sense of relief runs over him, and he starts to realize what he has actually done. He starts to love nature and the things that gGod has created for the human eye to see. Next time you think about making a rational decision, think about the aAncient mMariner and the Aalbatross.
