First of all, Kenneth, and I would like to thank you for accepting him , into your prestigious university. We are even more thankful for your granting him a 50% scholarship.
Nonetheless, the net financial cost still poses a challenge to me. I am the sole guardian of my nephew and his elder sister. Kenneth’s father is deceased. He passed away in 2008, when he was in grade 3 and his sister in grade 4. Being the second eldest in the family, I have thea moral obligation to assume all of the responsibilities of supporting both of them. I have a physical disability and my ability to make money has been constrained by this. The Xavier School Alumni has been a tremendous help to us during Kenneth’s elementary and high school years. They granted him a full scholarship, including books and miscellaneous needs, for all of those years. Currently, I have no other financial assistance. Kenneth’s sister is also starting her second year in college. (University of Sto. Tomas.).
