My apologies in advance, but I am going to have to resign from Optum before my 90 days is up. During my interview, I should have asked what type of facility I would be coding for. Even though I have been coding for a number of years, I am not that comfortable coding for such a large facility with a lot of trauma cases. I have to be honest with myself and say that I am not as skilled of a coder for these cases as my co-workers. With every high -dollar chart that I have coded, I have second -guessed myself, and had questions on all of them. This is gowing toll also reflect badly on my audit., and Mmy productivity is also suffering. As a coder, I want to be confident in the work that I am doing and I am not confident working for ORH.
