The Polish Energy Group will take over CHP plants owned by our French EDF.
They will be taken over. CHPs and district heating networks in Polish agglomerations will be taken over. In the opinion of the Minister of Energy, Krzysztof Tchórzewski, the transaction is beneficial tofor the entire power sector. It will affect both the improvement of the country's energy security and the certainty of supply to the final recipients.
The acquisition agreement is conditional: The office of Competition and Consumer Protection; Asset transfer must also be obtained in France by EDF.
The value of the entire transaction amounts to PLN 4.5 billion. The agreement concerns the takeover by the Polish Power Group of CHP plants in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Cracow and Toruń, the heat distribution network in Toruń, Rybnik Power Plant and the Kogeneracja listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by the Polish Power Group.
They will be taken over.
