Stop telling me to smile
Or wear a smile upside down
We did not pick cotton together,
howHow dare you speak as if you know my pain .
The cracks in my feet , my bruised back, bleed scars of history
Though those scars are no longer visible
I suffered
I bled
I was dehumanized
But we are stronger
Bow down , no we shall not
Don't tell me there's something wrong with being pro black
Perhaps you are too oblivious to accept the facts
Why do you hate me so much ?
Or do you fear me ?
