Thank you for your mail and the offer of an option to extend the lease.

My apologies for the delay, as I needed to do a little research and address a few decisions as myself. I recently got engaged, and my fiancé and I am thinking of moving in together.

In order for us to make a calculated decisions here withdecision considering my thoughts and concerns., I would appreciate your feedback, and thank you in advance for understanding my concerns.

The increase in rentalrent seems fair. However, it takes a fair amount to maintain the house. With the last storm, a piece of the gutter pulled loose, and needed attention. When it rains, the water seeps in at various places; andone of the bigger concerns is that it gets through the light fittings in the lounge.

I fully underhand that putting money into a property that you eventually will renovate or revamp makemakes little financial sense for you. However, would you be prepared to look at these concerns and address them?

Alternatively, perhaps we can agree up keep the rentalrent the same, and I will attend to the maintenance.

Lastly, would you be open to extending the lease for another year?
