The sight of large stones flying towards Mrs. Hutchinson’s body in every direction. The only thing she could hear waswere rocks striking against her head and stomach. All she wanted to do was crawl into a hidden corner where no oneno-one could reach her. Trying to dodge rocks small and large. The smell of fresh flowers in the distance, thought to be a sign of hope. The only taste left in her mouth was gushing blood running down her face. Mrs. Hutchinson reached the point of no feeling or care.

“Everyone can return to work at this time,” announced Mr. Summers.

“Finally this lottery is over,”answered many of the town members.
