Chloe was exhausted. She waited for Isabelle and Mike in her father's car, and she couldn't stop thinking about her friend, who disappeared after showing some unnatural power that left everyone speechless. That was what the older girl thought. "What took you so long?", Chloe asked as her friends jumped in the car without saying a word. Mike handed Chloe her shoes and leaned back again, placing both of his hands on his thighs. At that moment, Chloe felt something hit her in theher dark and deep soul, the feeling of emptiness and fear. She tried to ignore that unwanted feeling and, switched on the engine, and started driving to an unknown destination. The three friends were obviously afraid of what they saw on the ice rink, and that was probably why they didn't talk about it. But Rachel never wanted to hurt anybody. She promised herself that she wouldn't use her power anymore after accidentally lifting a man and throwing him on the floor again.
