Positive emotions are emotions that we find pleasurable to experience. Here are some: joy, interest, gratitude, inspiration, and satisfaction. OnEven on a bad day, some good things can happen too; however, we must learn from them and move on with a positive attitude. Reflecting on the good things contributecontributes to our well-beingwellbeing. Fredrickson's Broaden-and-Build theory states that positive emotions broaden our minds and hearts, and changeschange our outlook on the environment surrounding us, and help us build the best version of ourselves. Despite the brief and subtle nature of positive emotions, the benefits seem to echo long after their pleasures have dimmed. Later on, we took a walk in the university's hallway with a partner while asking two questions: "What are you stressed about?" and "What are you looking forward to today?" I felt good and comfortable talking with my partner and sharing answers, asthough I normally have trouble doing so. This activity taught me that being a good listener allows you to expand your horizons. And one of the best ways to expand our horizonhorizons is to expose ourselves to the different thoughts, opinions, and experiencesexperiences of others. We do so by opening our hearts and minds to them. After understanding the topic, I have decided to look at things differently, there's. There's so much to achieve and look forward to. "Because I have been given a lot, I have to give to others," and so I've decided to cherish, and be grateful for what I have and help others in need. Positive emotions helpedwill help me shape a better version of myself and ignore the negative little details of any situation.
