I walked in and walked back out, thinking to myself that another job interview wouldn’t be worth my time. But my mom pushed me back in, “Come on Laura, this is a wide open door for new opportunities.” She motioned me back into the ice cream parlor. Once I stepped foot in the door, I was smacked in the face with a rich smell of chocolate. In case you wondered, chocolate was my second favorite thing after a Mcdonald'sMcDonald's Big Mac cheeseburger. I used to buy them every day after school until we moved houses and didn’t have a McDonald’s nearby. In my opinion, Nothingnothing tastes better than American cheese, pickles, onions, and a sesame seed bun to top it all off!
I walked into the parlor, and I was instantly assisted by a short, red-haired woman, now. Now that I think about it, she didn’t have much hair left. I quietly laughed to myself, hoping I wouldn’t end up like that.
“Excuse me, ma’am, do you happen to be Laura?” Sheshe asked.
