Summary:
Exirel, is among the insecticides responsible for the appearance of major changes, which are induced by oxidative stress which disrupts the detoxification enzymatic systems in the liver.
OurThe objective that we carried out andwas devoted to the study of the toxic effect ofthat Exirel has in different doses (0.025mg / kg / d, 0.05mg / kg / d, 0.075mg / kg / d, 0.1mg / kg / d) at the level of certain biochemical and enzymatic parameters in wistar rats exposed chronically by the oral route, for a period of 90 days.
Our results showed that Exirel causes an increase in theincreased level of liver proteins, malondialdehyde (MDA) and the activity of GST. In addition, we recorded a reduction in the level of hepatic lipids, GSH and GPx activity in comparison with the control rats.
The present study has shown that chronic exposure to Exirel causes toxic effects in the parameters mentioned above.
