My family and I are experiencing financial hardships. My son's disease has a tremendous effect due toon his health. My son iswas diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, and he is insulin-dependent in order to live. It is difficult for my son to care for himself, and his blood sugar is not controlled. He is either too high or too low. He has to check his blood sugar around the clock, so he won't be in a coma. We areIt has been one year since his diagnosis, and it is very difficult for him to deal with his new normal. My family and I are living off of my husband's income, and unfortunately, I'm not able to work due to my son's disease. I stay up long hours and suffer from a lack of sleep while my husband works. Luckily, my eldest daughter assists me with her younger brother. She is a hard-working straight-A student. She helps her brothers with their homework. She makes my son and Iour experience much easier. I never imagined seeing my son, whimper in pain about his diabetes, as either he has stomach complications or his needle hurts. Overall, I just want my children to succeed in their school/education and not have to worry about financial problems.
