The teacher is the one who gets the most out of the lessons, and the true teacher is the learner, and I am still learning. Ever since I graduated fromwith my Master’s, I have always been teaching. Initially teaching the high school, I had an immaculatelyamazingly refreshing experience of dealing with young adults.
My perception towards education and the entire teaching-learningteaching–learning process changed as I started teaching students pursuing Mastersstudying for a Master's, who had already gained a bit of industry experience and were much more aware of the work culture. As a quick learner, I started suggesting rather than imposing, as that is the art of teaching, especially when dealing with young adults. Most importantly, this experience made me open toward accepting criticismscriticism and helped me believe that teaching is always student-centric.
I have taught nearly all Business, Economics, Advertising & Marketing courses. The feeling of helping students with subjects that are so important for their future, looking atgiven the current trends due to the impact of the pandemic on the world economy, makes me feel proud as a teacher. As an organized being, I make sure everything that pertains to me at work is also organized. Fulfilling commitments and meeting deadlines have always motivated me more and more, as it givesthey give me a feeling of having achieved something professionally.
In Burhani College, I was given the responsibility of organizing the convocation ceremony, where the chancellor conferred degrees and it was a delight to see my students walk across the stage to receive their degrees, and that the event was a big success was like an added feather to my hat.
Collaboration with colleagues and being flexible to other’sothers' requirements are my intrinsic traits. I willfully accept more responsibilities and always believe in being supportive.
