The agro-industrial complex of the company Agro-Oven has two factories, warehouses and 16 ,000 hectares of agricultural land.
The onion processing and storage plant is located in the village Magdalinovka (Dnipro region).
The onion cultivation area is 200 hesctareshectares, thewith a harvest isof 15 ,000 tons. The harvest starts in September, this year’s varieties are Scapino and Taresvo (selected by HAZERA). The proximity of the plant to the fields minimizes the time from harvesting to warehouses with, and is overseen using the intelligent management system Mooij Agro.
For the extention ofTo extend the retention period of the crop until May, in 2020 Agro-Oven built 5 refrigerators, each for the storage of 1,800 tons of oniononions. Agro-Oven has also bought 2 machines offrom the British manufacturer M&P, for peelingto peel onions, with a capacity of 400 tons/month. The peeled onlionsonions are delivered to the factories for the production of intermediate goods.
The plant is equipped with a line for sorting and packing the onions into mesh bags, withat a speed of 10 tons/hour, the. The products are then delivered to retail chains, where consumers can purchase them.
