SuffrageThe suffrage movement impacted the lives of American women in many ways. The suffrage movement was a fight to win the right for women to vote in the United States. There were OnlyIt had only positive impacts that it had on the world. The suffrage movement created higher expectations for women. Women were able to attend college and train for careers by the early twentieth century. They began to enter traditionally male-dominated fields such as law, medicine, clergy, and business. Women were able to secure their place in society due to the Women'swomen's Suffrage movement, which brought America one step closer to full equality. Economically, they achieved a much bigger variety inof job choices and higher salaries. It helped Societysociety to see that women are strong and hard-workinghardworking. It also Grantedgranted women the 19th Amendment, which gave them the right to vote. All of this impact is still here today because Wewe have much more educational opportunitiesopportunity than we hadwas available previously and we have the same rights as men. We can go to the same Collegecolleges as men and work in the same fields. All of this happened because of the suffrage movement and we still have the right to vote. The suffrage movement changed the world and I don't know where we would be without it.
