I am emailing because I have been advised that, as of September 1, the Canadian Union of Restaurant Workers will be in a position to initiate some form of job action. I know they have been talking about it for a while, but it looks like it could finally happen. I don’t know if there will be picket lines. It’s a possibility. None of us are CURW, but the cafeteria could close. It’s a CURW shop. A closure might last for months. Anyway, it is too early to tell what will happen for sure. TheFortunately, the food trucks will regardless be open, fortunatelyregardless. The secretaries might be happy bringing salads, but I know the guys want their meat. Kidding, kidding!
