Over the past year, Covid has reshaped all of our lives. Because the virus is here, many have been faced with one major decision. This is to be vaccinated or not. While we should have a free will, we really don't. InAt the beginning of this month I was given an order to get vaccinated to keep my job. I explained to my boss my fears of taking the vaccine and the risks related to my health issues. My boss stated, “i“I understand, but you have no choice”!choice!” After doing lots of research and seeing a healthy young girl on tv paralyzed from the vaccine I made a life-changing decision. I decided not to get vaccinated. Consequently, I losslost my job. I understand the staticstsstatistics of death reports of unvaccinated individuals. However, I just buried one of my best friends, who was fully vaccinated with no health issues, and still died from Covid relatedCovid-related complications. My point is, vaccinated or not, I believe our life islives are in the hands of God. I don't believe this is fair, but the effect of me not getting the vaccine caused me to lose my job. This has been a issuesan issue in every career field. TheirThere are major shortages of staff due to many not wanting to be vaccinated. InAs a result, many of us loss our jobs. Another effect is that we can't file for unemployment. I feel as if the mandate to be vaccinated will continue to cause many negative effects in millions of lives.
