The methodological core of this framework is the systematic translation of stakeholderstakeholders’ psychological profiles into Monte Carlo simulation parameters. This procedure ensures that behavioral biases systematically identified through Gray's Theorytheory are quantitatively corrected rather than treated as errors to be eliminated.
Step 1: Stakeholder BIS/BAS Profiling and Quantification
StakeholderStakeholders’ psychological profiles were assessed using a structured protocol, combining validated BIS/BAS scales (Carver & White, 1994), adapted for organizational contexts, with behavioral observation during semi-structured interviews. Profile scores were normalized on a 0-10 scale:
BIS Sensitivity: Anxietyanxiety responses to uncertainty, threat vigilance, avoidance tendencies.
BAS Sensitivity: Rewardreward responsiveness, goal-drive persistence, optimism bias.
Scores >6 indicate high sensitivity; scores <4 indicate low sensitivity; mixed profiles (4-6 range) receive weighted composite classifications.
